Trying my best , do pray for me.

Amazingly, God spammed so much words of wisdom unto me today. Breath-taking experience.

Questions to ask yourself:
1) Who are we doing things for? What is our mindset when doing things?

2) Bad past experience, so do we dwell in it? Or do we move on for greater things ahead in store for us?


3) When waves of trouble come falling unto us, do we panick? Have you forgotten who He is and what he is capable of doing?


4) Are we living a life that pleases God? Are we strengthened and grateful?

3 Application Points

1) Obedience in love and out of willingness towards our God-Given Parents.

2) Suffering is part of our christian walk with God. It strengthens and reinforces God's authority over our lives.


3) Being selfless. Seeking other's consensus, Being humble to all, Attend to interests of others also and not just ours.

Who's living a life worth living?

1As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

1) Let our hearts be a pleasant dwelling place for God.
Why?
God speaks to us more > More Insights > Stretches faith and conviction to do greater things for the kingdom.
How?
By a constant prayerful life. Repetitive Evaluation of our actions and words everyday.

2) Living a life worthy of the calling received.
Why?
Assurance of our identity in Christ > Stronger establishment in spiritual foundation > Outwardly manifestation of actions > Fruitful Life inundated with God's shower of blessings and directions.
How?
Humility, Gentleness, Patience, Bearing with one another in love. Keeping unity with H.S.

Life Purpose

QT:
Galatians 6 - Ephesians 2

[Galatians 6: 1- 3]
1Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. 2Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

[Ephesians 1:4]
4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.

[Ephesians 2:10]
10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

God spoke to me two important truths today. Firstly, our love for brothers and all. When we see someone sinning, we should correct out of love and gentleness. Do not create bitterness between you and that particular person. ALSO, Do not just let him be. It just goes to show how much you care for him. Be caring towards each other, only when you start caring , then will it be reciprocal. Secondly, remembering our life purpose. We are CHOSEN to do good works for the kingdom's sake. We should actually feel honoured to be so instead of feeling NUMB(nothing) as we have been in church for quite a period of time and have grown to be people who take God for granted. Do not take God for granted. Strive to live a holy and blameless life. Every action you take has its consequences good or bad.

People of the Spirit.

[Galatians 4: 8 -11]
8Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods. 9But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? 10You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! 11I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you.

[Galatians 5 : 16 - 17]
16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.

[Galatians 5 : 22 - 23]
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

God spoke to me in [Galatians 4:8-11] regarding my numerous backsliding incidents. I really ought to smack myself hard. We should be peope who live by God's Principles and not of the world's. We ought to live by the spirit. When we are so soaked and filled with the holy spirit, the fruit of the spirit just overflows as a manifestation of God's power. Let us be people of the Spirit, not deterred by the World, people around us who seem to be influential or simply anything/anyone that draws our attention away from the Messiah.

Are you who you are, wherever you go?

Yes.

2 Corinthians 13 - Galatians 2

[ Galatians 1 : 10 ]
10Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

[ Galatians 2 : 19-21 ]
19For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"[d]

God spoke to me two important truths. Firstly, are we seeking God's approval or Men's approval? Many of us would say we seek God's approval but ultimately, are you actually believing it or just saying it? We are all people who are obsessed with how others look,judge,comment on us that we take deliberate efforts to make our physical appearances look more appealing to the public. That is actually an action of seeking Men's approval. Secondly, our lives are bought by Christ. We should live a righteous, blameless life to the best of our ability by god's grace and strength to last us through. If not , Christ really died for nothing.
Take note:
1) Behaviour and attitudes.Perception.
2) Being aware of what we do, who we are daily.

Hardships are worth it.

2 Corinthians 10 - 2 Corinthians 12

[2 Corinthians 12: 9 - 10]
9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

God spoke to me about this area of hardships and tough times. It is so true that , in tough times, it is so easy for us to call on God more. And when we are doing well, God isn't much evident in our lives as compared to tough times. We need to realise the fact that, God isn't someone you can just make use of whenever you felt like based on your feelings. God is God; He is to be feared and is sovereign. We owe all we are today to God. In troubled times, try not to look at the problem, look deeper instead. Think : "What does God want me to learn from this incident or problem?" In all situations, seek God's advice and find out what are things that God wants to bring across to us so that in this way, we are able to learn and mature from setbacks.

As cliche as it sounds - Problems are there for a reason.

Grow, Mature. Giving.

2 Corinthians 7 - 2 Corinthians 9

[2 Corinthians 8: 10-12]
10And here is my advice about what is best for you in this matter: Last year you were the first not only to give but also to have the desire to do so. 11Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means. 12For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have.

[2 Corinthians 9: 6 - 8]
6Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

God spoke to me to carry on growing the seed planted in my heart. Not just letting it stay there, but letting it grow and mature to greater heights with strong roots (foundation). Also , sowing sparingly, in conjunction with what our heart has already decided on. Do not be like hypocrites. Be true to God.

16Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

God spoke to me about having faith and seeing the big picture. During times when we are so confused by ourselves, when we feel so helpless, so burdened by ourselves, when we are so desperate but have to do the things we do, so stressed up and uncertain, pressed on every side, we should NOT lose heart. Trust and have faith in Him. It is just that simple. Commit our lives unto Him , let him take charge of our life. Worrying is the absence or decrement of faith. By worrying , we let Satan get a foothold of our life and he gladly distorts our minds and let our minds go wild. Trust God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind that he has great things in store, yet to be discovered. Ultimately, we are the ones who choose whether or not to have faith in Him. Have child-like faith. "If God could bring Moses and the people out of Egypt, how much more can he bring you out of your problems and difficulties ?" Also, God spoke to me about seeing the big picture. Think eternal, not temporal. Life on earth is just a preparation and pre-requisite to eternal life. Be assured, convicted, inspired, passionate to be able to serve. Let our hearts be on fire for God.

Lord, I pray for this closest friend of mine, that you would guide and bless this friend for this friend knows who is in control of this friend's life. Reveal things in your timing. Strengthen this person's faith in you in such times of uncertainty, let this friend have a spiritual refreshment in you and not just know, but understand why this friend does things. Knowing is one thing, believing is another. Sometimes, it may not seem rationale but Lord you work in mysterious ways. God I trust and commit this person's life into your hands , that you would lord it over this person's life and bless this person abundantly, embracing and showering this person with love and care. In jesus precious and holy name I pray, Amen. Be joyful okay? :)

Thank God For You

2 Corinthians 1 - 2 Corinthians 3

[2 Corinthians 1: 5 - 6]
5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.

God spoke to me in this two verses. When we go through sufferings , we overcome just as Christ had. Also when we are in comfort, we experience it just as Christ had. Let's not be determined by situations/times of adversity/problems/setbacks but instead have this perception : "He has overcomed it, so can you with his Strength in you." Endure, persevere, achieve.



Okay, back to Blogging(haven't been doing so for awhile),

I want to thank God for: (in no particular order)

1) Family
- For they supported me through the lowest lows in my life. They provided for me, cared for me, celebrated every single birthday with me, Blessed me so much materially, taught me alotta things.

2) Caregroup
- Real sincere authentic bunch of jokers who serve hard in the Lord together.

3)Shepherd CPF
- For teaching , discipling and being patient with me.
- For caring by actions and not just by words.
- For bridging me into tertiary life last year.

4) Classmates
- For being such a great bunch of people who laugh,play,eat together and pon lecture together.
- For being united as a whole class.

5) Friend
- For being such a close friend to me. For being real and authentic before me , just as I am before you.
- For helping me overcome.

58Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

God encouraged me in this verses. Mixing with bad company corrupts good character. This is very true. I want to have great friends who have positive influences and amidst my current state of life , I actually have such friends. Thank God for blessing my life with great friends of mine. Also, God encourgaed me to stand firm, fully committed to the work of the Lord. The results are not instantaneous but will eventually come to past.

Love

1 Corinthians 11 - 1 Corinthians 13

[1 Corinthians 11: 19 - 21]
19No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God's approval. 20When you come together, it is not the Lord's Supper you eat, 21for as you eat, each of you goes ahead without waiting for anybody else. One remains hungry, another gets drunk.

[1 Corinthians 11: 33 - 34]
33So then, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for each other. 34If anyone is hungry, he should eat at home, so that when you meet together it may not result in judgment.
And when I come I will give further directions.

[1 Corinthians 13: 4-7]
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

God spoke to me about waiting for people. Not the literal definition of waiting for people to buy their food but reference of not leaving anyone behind. We are all in this race together and we leave NO ONE behind. Care for one another despite the differences. Secondly , Love. It is the crux of everything. Without it , we are nothing. For it was also mentioned Love is God , God Is Love. This is the attitude that we should yearn and desire to attain and strive towards developing such strong character so we can be more equipped with the love of God to do his will and to glorify his kingdom.

Not being Judgmental

22To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. 23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

[1 Corinthians 10 : 13]
13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

[1 Corinthians 10:23]
23"Everything is permissible"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible"—but not everything is constructive. 24Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.

Lord spoke into my life today three important truths. Firstly, being all things to all men. This is to enhance the power of evangelising. Not judging, not looking in comtempt, but looking in love, grace, compassion, kindness as an outflow of God's people with God's character. Secondly, temptations. Temptations are there for a reason. They are to strengthen us. God knows our limits and he won't test beyond what we can bear - well if you Trust God completely and give him your 100 %. Lastly, doing things. God spoke to me about this yet Again. We should be wary and cautious of the things we do ,how we behave and react to certain people or situations. Everything you do can have a postive or adverse effect on people or situations.

For what's best for the spirit

12"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything.

As clearly stated in this verse, we ought to heed such advice from the Lord.
We need to PUSH ( Pray Until Something Happens) in perseverance.
When do we seek God most? During Good times? NO. It's during the bad times, when we have no one else to turn to, when nobody else cares about you, where you turn to God. Bad times or situations are created by God with purposes. They don't "just happen".
