For what's best for the spirit

¹²"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything.

As clearly stated in this verse, we ought to heed such advice from the Lord.
We need to PUSH ( Pray Until Something Happens) in perseverance.
When do we seek God most? During Good times? NO. It's during the bad times, when we have no one else to turn to, when nobody else cares about you, where you turn to God. Bad times or situations are created by God with purposes. They don't "just happen".
